On July 22, 2026, a cheque amounting to BDT 17,546,340/- was handed over at the Head Office of South Asia Insurance Company Limited in Dhaka against the fire insurance claim of M/s Mehek Enterprise, an insured client of the Company’s VIP Road Branch. At the cheque handover ceremony, Mr. Abul Hasnat, representative of the insured, and the Branch Manager of Bank Asia’s Paltan Branch were present. Representing South Asia Insurance Company Limited were Mr. Muhammad Nurul Alam Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer; Mr. Abdur Razzak, LL.M., ACS, Assistant Managing Director & Company Secretary; Mr. Morshed Hasan, Assistant Managing Director & Head of the Branch Control Department; Mr. Humayun Kabir Shimul, CFO; and Mr. Md. Mahfuzur Rahman, Deputy Vice President & Head of the Claims and Reinsurance Department.
